You can place an icon by creating a shortcut to it, or by using the Registry Editor to set its properties directly.

In the registry navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation Create. If it doesn’t exist, add a string named: Logo. Assign the path of your image file and restart your computer. Remember, the image must be a bmp file and should remain intact.
