How do Rainbow Six's season passes work?
How do Rainbow Six's season passes work?
I was searching for a trustworthy source to buy Rainbow Six: Siege at a reasonable cost. I came across this "sale" on G2A: https://www.g2a.com/tom-clancys-rainbow-...0031948003 from seller "Keysell2431". My main concern is understanding the purpose of these season passes. I know that "Season Pass" grants access to the first year's operators, while "Season Pass Year 2" provides the second year's access. However, I’m unsure whether these passes actually give you the operators or just allow you to buy them separately with in-game currency. I’m skeptical because I’ve heard Ubisoft has adopted similar practices to EA and now seems to charge for everything.
Sorry about the mistakes, English isn't my primary language...
They don’t seem trustworthy, and their practices are questionable. The seller also compromised my banking details and drained my account.
I previously purchased a bundle there that was surprisingly (perhaps suspiciously) inexpensive, yet I wasn't scammed. Although I heard negative comments about it, I won’t share my bank details under any circumstances; the games received were paid for in cash. Overall, recognizing this helps me stay more cautious.
I think a seller with positive feedback and high sales volume is likely legitimate, though absolute certainty isn't possible.
I haven't fallen victim to scams from sites like g2a, hrk, cdkeys, etc. I've received all my games from them. Sorry about the steam complaints and other publishers' pricing issues... To answer your question, I asked a friend who mentioned you don't need to pay for Season 2 operators, but you will have to for Season 1 ones. If you buy the season pass, you'll unlock Spanish, Blood orchid and Korean operators. Hope this helps!
Haha, me neither man. I actually attempted a few... sort of Jack Sparrow moves, but it didn’t work. I’ve been away from PC gaming for a while now. Even with the first season pass included, I’d still have to pay for the respective operators—Canadian, Marine, Brazilian, Japanese. But not for this year’s operators starting with Spain. Then I’ll be able to jump in right away, won’t I?
A single season pass grants access to the season one operators. However, I wasn't convinced by this approach. The idea of a year two operator pass seemed straightforward, but I'm still trying to understand it. I'll check out a Steam discussion for more details.
