We can use a supersampling technique to achieve 8K in certain games, but I’m not confident about 16K. Also, please note all the people who posted the silly comments above.

Believe you can calculate that 8K equals four times 4K. At first it seems sensible, but let's verify. 8K measures 7680x4320 pixels, totaling 33.2 megapixels. 4K stands at 3840x2160, or about 8.3 megapixels. Dividing 33.2 by 8.3 gives roughly 4, meaning 8K is four times the resolution of 4K.
