How do i stop it ???
The update process often prompts restarts, and stopping automatic updates isn’t a built-in option. You’ll need to check your device settings or app-specific controls for that.
Windows settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options Disable the feature "We'll show you a reminder when we're going to restart [...]"
ah sorry, didn't understood the question correctly. In the Windows Update advanced options there's also an option to pause the updates for a while. If you have Pro, there's a GPO setting, if you have the Home version, then you're out of luck. The GPO ; Open GPEDIT.MSC Computer Configuration > Admin Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update Configure Automatic Update Enable 2 - Notify for update and auto-install With that, Windows will notify you that there's updates, but won't download or install anything.
It seems the item isn't displaying because it's not fully developed yet.
Probably they’ll send you a key soon since you just got a new GPU, but don’t have much cash left.
Everything is fine, keep this discussion thread handy for any adjustments to the GPO or registry changes. Both methods are acceptable. Also, consider modifying the setting "No auto reboot with logged on users" to prevent Windows from restarting when a user is logged in. This setting matches the one found in GPEDIT and the registry, identified by the hex value 1.
