I just received my new Corsair h100i v2 and am planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 3000 build next month. Currently, I have an i5 6600k running at 4.5ghz at 1.370v. Stability seems uncertain; OCCT reports stable performance for over six hours with temperatures around 65-67°C, but Prime 95 crashes after three minutes with the message "expected 4 got 5". To be frank, I'm new to overclocking—even though I bought a 6600K before, I haven't really experimented with it. My main goal is to finish my Vray renders as quickly as possible before putting this setup together.

Specs:
- i5 6600k
- Asus Strix Gtx 960 4GB
- 8X1 Gskill ripjaws V @ XMP 2400MHz
- Asus z170 Pro Gaming
- Corsair CX500

Begin with the basics and progress gradually.
This process will require time, so be ready to invest a significant amount of effort. There are no shortcuts, and you should avoid any attempts to bypass it.
