How do I run Voyetra Audiostation on Windows 11?
I used to like Voyetra Audiostation back in the day because it was a simple 16-bit software. But recently I found out that it only runs on old systems without NT, like Windows 9x. On newer systems such as my version of Windows 11, the program starts up but stops working right away and says "This card has no mixer functionality." Now I am trying to figure out how to make this software work properly in my current setup with a mix of hardware.
Besides the 16-bit problem and missing CD drive, your software is probably very bad. Maybe it's fake software pretending to be real. You can find some options online like this link or here. I don't know if those will work well for you. Maybe just pick a different media player instead?
You should get a newer version like v2.2 from 2019. Audiostation is an old-fashioned media player that works well on Windows. It can play many types of audio files such as mp3, wav, and midi. It also has features like playlists, radio streaming, recording, and built-in sound effects. You can download, change it up, and look around at it for free. Visit www.audiostation.org
That won't work. When the computer starts up, it crashes because my laptop doesn't have a CD drive built in. The audiostation I'm talking about is here: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...ack/?id=6159&usg=AOvVaw2f5cfkp1gK27lshfEdRRYB
Besides the 16-bit problem, having no CD drive is a hassle. This software feels very old and might be bad. Maybe it's a fake CD drive pretending to work. Check out these links for options: https://virtual-cd.en.uptodown.com/windows or https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6236-...d-rom.html I don't know if those will actually help or how good they are. Maybe you should try a different media player that isn't this bad.
One thing that stops it is missing a CD drive, and another thing that stops it is no mixer card. But both apps can still start up.
The specific model you are talking about uses 16-bit sound. I just looked for "Voyetra Audiostation" on the web, which is why this link popped up. It seems like not having a CD player stops you from buying that thing.
