I play tunes while you move back and forth on one foot.

There are various thermal pastes or interface materials available, some of which incorporate diamonds. There are tests comparing their performance. Overclocking requires effective heat transfer while maintaining a minimal thickness. To achieve this, the CPU cover should be sanded to a perfect flatness using progressively finer sandpaper on a glass surface. High-quality heatsinks often feature a mirror finish and may have a slight convex shape to ensure good contact with the CPU cores. However, heatsinks can also be "lapped" in this manner, creating almost direct metal-to-metal contact with minimal TIM.

You're playing music while doing a lot of jumping on one leg.
Hey, let me know what's going on!

some thermal paste or interface material exists that is superior to others, including those made from diamonds. There are tests available to compare them. Overclocking thermal paste requires strong heat transfer and a very thin layer. You can achieve this by carefully sanding the CPU cover flat with progressively finer sandpaper on a glass surface. High-quality heatsinks often have a mirror finish and may be slightly curved to press against the CPU cores. Alternatively, you can apply it in a way that creates almost direct metal-to-metal contact, minimizing the need for additional thermal interface material.
