No, I can't do that with one Steam account because it doesn't work like that. You'd need a different login for each game or separate accounts to play on two computers at once. Just let me know what you want to try instead!

I'm not sure about that, but I do know you need two copies of the game if you want to have two separate accounts when using Steam. That means you'd be playing both instances at once. You can always use a Steam account on any device you log in and download what is needed.

That would just let people cheat by using one title under one account yet playing from two separate setups. As I mentioned before, you'll actually have to get a second account too and make sure that specific game is available in your library on the other side. You can't skip those steps.

I need to find a game to play, but I don't have one right now. My friend doesn't know if they can give me access to a game so we can play together.

I need to find a fun game, but I don't have one right now. My friend might be able to lend me something they have, just so we can play together.

You can share a game, but you can only play one at a time. To set this up in Steam, go to the Family tab in the settings. Even if you have your own steam account, you'll need to link it to your friend's. This way, you can see and get all of his stuff from his library. Basically, you can share everything in the library on different PC's. The only thing is, you just can't play the same game at the same time. You each get your own achievements and other things, so everything stays separate for everyone.

I don't know the limits for the family share feature. Your account is shared with two kids, so you can at least do that many games. You'll need to check how many people can be in a group for sharing, but remember: only one person plays at a time. So you won't play together on the same library. Just make sure to understand this rule, and then you can share with others.

What if there is another path? You won't find the exact same spot playing together (co-op) or alone (mp). It just doesn't work that way.

playing together means we take turns having one go at the same game at a time. It's just you and your friends taking it slow by not playing all at once.
