How do I keep my computer running smoothly while speeding it up?
Hi Guys, I am new to this stuff and need some help! I have an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF Processor paired with Wraith Spire cooling. My motherboard is ASRock B450M Steel Legend. For memory, I use Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 sticks of 8GB) at 3000MHz with low latency (CL15). I also have an MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Super Ventus XS OC that is 4GB VRAM running at 4GHz.
I tried changing the BIOS settings a little bit, but it crashed immediately every time and I had to remove the battery from the motherboard to turn it back on. I just wanted to know if it's safe to try overclocking without risking it dying right away. I also have a Cosair 650W power supply that should be enough.
