You can set up a Windows 10 simulator on your existing Windows 10 system. You can also create another Windows installation and grant it access via USB so only you can configure it.

Are you referring to a virtual machine? You likely need one. If yes, turn on Hyper-V in Windows (or set up VirtualBox if you have the home version). Create a VM and connect it to the Windows ISO you have.

Choose a virtual machine setup like Virtual Box. Obtain the Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft. Use this tutorial to build a Windows 10 virtual machine (adjust settings as needed). This guide covers mounting USB devices and shows how to access the mount menu. Once you're comfortable, experiment with other operating systems such as Linux. macOS isn't recommended unless you're aiming for a weekend hobby.

It's not possible to use Windows 10 forever without features for free. You can run it with limited capabilities, but a license is required for full functionality.

Ty, that was really useful! My girlfriend wants to watch TV while I'm playing, so I'm linking the TV to the computer and setting up a virtual machine for split screen and multi-sound via USB. If I open a browser, YouTube, Netflix, or Popcorn Time, the audio should come from those sources.
