I understand you're looking for a simple way to get Star Citizen. Just ask how to purchase it through the official channels or community platforms.

Currently, you're not allowed to do that. You can purchase ships for early access, but it's not recommended right now. It's safer to wait until the full release.

You're wondering why I suggest waiting—just looking for more info. You mentioned a pledge option on the page, so feel free to explore that if you're interested.

Currently, you can't purchase the game directly. Instead, you make a commitment known as an RSI pledge. This ensures you'll have access once the official release occurs, and most of the early access stages provide beta features before public testing begins.

The game is still available. Keep watching—it could become the most significant moment in video gaming ever.

Be aware the price might rise upon launch, similar to around 50-60 USD for most recent AAA titles.

They are preparing to launch version .9 soon. The anticipated release comes next year, suggesting it will likely begin in beta.

The decision to wait hinges largely on individual preferences. If you enjoy exploring new features and are comfortable with occasional glitches, joining now could let you earn extra rewards as more people commit. Just a short while ago everyone eagerly awaited jetpacks, though we eventually moved to combat gear—still a nice upgrade. The developers are dropping parts of the game as modules so players can sample it, but these versions are still in alpha and may change significantly. If you prefer to wait, you might end up paying a bit more when the official release arrives. Regardless, the final product will likely be similar, so it’s ultimately a personal choice. With the Arena Commander module already available and strong anticipation building, a major release would generate significant attention—both positive and negative. I expect many will feel let down if the finished game falls short of expectations, though I hope it lives up to the excitement.
