Default app should differ from UWP; I already have it installed via Program Files.

I encountered an issue with Torch years ago on Windows 10. It seemed to require uninstalling it for everything to function normally. Now I need it to run something, but CMD and Regedit didn't help. My thought is it might be a UWP app conflicting with the system, and honestly, UWP takes priority over regular apps. It's frustrating, but people here are often creative with solutions.

I'm not sure how long it's been, but you might want to try reinstalling your app in the UWP folder. The path is hidden, and you don't want to overwrite existing data. Whether you treat it as a program or software depends on how you normally install it.

It doesn't have to be a UWP app; just need some form of registration to appear in the list. The issues Torch is causing seem more like interference rather than a standard Windows problem.
