Unless everyone in your neighborhood uses the same internet provider and is consuming all the available bandwidth, it’s worth trying the approach I mentioned. If it doesn’t resolve the issue, contact the ISP for assistance. There’s limited control if you’re only connecting through the router, as a gigabit connection usually points to a local network problem.
