how do i extend my c drive

Try adding the unused area to your C drive without interfering with the existing 505MB section. Make sure you have the right permissions and understand the risks involved.

Backup the hidden 505MB section. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...7f9840fdb2 Delete it. Increase the C drive space, ensuring at least 505MB remains free. Reconnect the hidden partition.

I recently ran diskpart via CMD, chose the disk and partition, and applied the delete partition override command.

It still starts up without the 550MB area. The bootloader was indeed on that space.
