How do I download WiFi drivers
Which specific WIFI drivers were you installed? Could you not link the PC to the router using a cable to obtain the drivers directly on the computer?
I downloaded the parts for my motherboard from the Asus site, but a hardwired connection isn’t working.
Or simply let Windows update handle it, as it often works well on standard devices. The Wi-Fi chip for the motherboard is unknown to me, but it’s worth trying. Windows 10 detected my GT 610 and installed a working driver automatically—definitely worth a shot. Edit: I’ll skip that part since I just read your earlier post.
This board uses two distinct Wi-Fi drivers. Have you tested both or just one? It seems some models come with a MediaTek chipset while others have a Realtek one. More info here: https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-com...-A-WIFI-II Wireless -> See All Downloads
I can understand what you mean. It wasn't a criticism, just me clarifying my explanation.
As discussed earlier by @Nayr438, your motherboard supports multiple Wi-Fi chips and requires different drivers based on the specific chip installed. Similar to my ASUS TUF B650, it can actually include three distinct Wi-Fi chips. Using just two drivers wouldn't suffice, but once the right one was identified, everything worked smoothly. Feel free to test all available drivers.
