Motherboard model: B450 AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0)
Operating system: Windows 10 - 64 bit BIOS guide: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/...rt-dl-bios

Current BIOS version: F1 (first listed, bottom of the page)
No update performed due to caution

Recommended steps:
1) Download and install the latest AMD chipset drivers
2) Install F32 directly from BIOS F1
3) Install F40
4) Install F50 directly from F40

Please verify the BIOS instructions for confirmation.
How can I safely update my BIOS without causing damage? Thank you.

Reach out to Gigabyte and inquire about the proper procedure. If issues arise, mention that you adhered to the guidance provided by their support team.

Before upgrading to F40, gigabyte’s site advises installing the EC FW Update Tool (version B19.0517.1 or newer) to prevent 4DIMM DDR issues with the third-generation AMD Ryzen CPU.
