How do I bind my mouse's scroll wheel to a game controller?
How do I bind my mouse's scroll wheel to a game controller?
I just bought an Asus TUF M4 mouse with six buttons for £50 to replace my old tiny five-button one that cost only £10 and I used it in games for years. Turns out the new one doesn't really have six buttons when you play because you can't bind the DPI button above the scroll wheel. Is there any way using third party software to use all six buttons when gaming?
Six buttons and six bindable buttons aren't exactly the same thing. If they had called it out as having six bindable buttons, I would have understood your point. But actually, there ARE some third-party programs you can use to make mouse buttons act like any keyboard key you pick. So you'd just link the function in the game you want to that key, and then have the mouse button become that key. Xpadder was one of the first such software I've used, but there are many others now. https://alternativeto.net/software/xpadd...cense=free
