You're experiencing recurring reboot prompts after upgrading your Acer prebuilt PC to Windows 10. It sounds like the system is having trouble starting properly. A fresh installation might resolve these issues, but it could also mean losing some data depending on how the setup was done. Consider backing up important files before proceeding.

Visit the official Microsoft website for Windows 10 download and follow the instructions to generate a bootable USB drive.

Navigate to settings, select "Reset this PC," and follow the prompts to decide what remains. It functions similarly to a complete system reinstall.

Suggested update path: reinstall Windows 7 or 8.1 Pro and then upgrade to Windows 10. This ensures your activated version appears as an original copy. Alternatively, you can utilize the media creation utility—select the method that suits you better.

The ISO one covers more ground. It's also tougher and fully erases everything.

If you purchase an SSD and mount it, it won't affect the other hard drive.
