Before attempting to reinstall Windows, I managed to view CPU and GPU metrics like clock speed and fan speed. After the reinstall, these details disappeared entirely, prompting me to delete AMD software and reinstall drivers, which led to repeated crashes until a successful third install. I’m confident I chose full installation since I took a screenshot during the download, confirming it wasn’t minimal. What advice do you have?

Initially, you need to use DDU to prevent these issues.
Thirdly, you can view the metrics overlay by accessing the Radeon settings, choosing gaming, and then selecting performance. The overlay feature is available there.

I tried using ddu to remove the amd drivers but it didn't work. I also noticed the small text on the screen mentioning "installing minimal requirements," even though I chose the full installation option.

I don't believe the minimum setup will cause an issue since it still performs the same tasks. In fact, the smallest installation seems preferable as it will have been updated with one or two versions by then (they frequently release updates even if it already functions well).

Did you think the overlay looked acceptable?

I believe I added the complete version since I learned that a record feature isn't visible when installing the basic version. I still have access to the recording option, but many performance metrics for my CPU and GPU are missing except for temperature.

I thought you meant the minimal/portable version for DDU. I didn't realize you were talking about Adrenalin Software. That's unusual—I haven't come across that before. I'll check my setup when I get home tonight and see if anyone has a solution before I try.
