Hello everyone,
I recently discovered that it’s possible to overclock your monitor easily. Using the amd adrenaline software, I changed the custom resolution from 60hz to 75hz and adjusted the Windows advanced display settings to match that refresh rate. After applying the changes, the screen briefly went black for about two seconds before confirming the settings. When I restarted the PC, the monitor displayed 75hz and the Windows display settings verified it. However, when testing on the UFO refresh rate tester, only 60hz appeared. Why did Windows let me set it despite the discrepancy? Or is there something else going on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Updated: I experimented with various browsers for testing and discovered Chrome might have an outdated HTML5 protocol, so I switched to Opera and Firefox. Opera reported 60hz, while Firefox showed 75hz during the test.
Additionally, I started Fortnite with VSync enabled and it locked at 75hz, suggesting that the UFO test isn't the ideal setting for checking monitor overclocking validity.
Hope this assists others facing similar problems.
