Thank you so much, Metall. If I decide to take out the whole cover and palm rest, can I pick either an L-shaped enter key or a non-L shaped one? Since everything is being replaced, why should it have to match my old setup? (Like going with the Nordic layout that has the L-key?) Thanks for letting me know about ordering from China - I'll try not to buy anything there if possible! Cool video of the heat gun, lots of serious gear in there! It's way beyond me but looks fun.

Yeah, I think changing the whole handle means we don't need to match the Enter keys. Also, I couldn't find any handle with a keyboard attached that has the Enter key in an L shape. Are they being made? So maybe our best choice is to buy one where the Enter key is on just one row (like the US layout).

Great thanks Mettall. I'm going to check out different choices for buying the palm rest and keyboard together and pick the standard QWERTY setup, whatever that means for US or UK (either should work). Wow, really thankful for all your support!
