I own GTA 5 on my PC for a while now, and I always remove it because it keeps freezing more the longer I play. It might work for about ten minutes after launching, but once that passes, it just freezes continuously and becomes completely unusable. I try closing all background apps, but it doesn’t help. The site mentions it should run almost fine, but in these settings it’s really difficult to play. I can definitely run it, but under these conditions completing the story is nearly impossible—especially online, where it’s even worse. By the way, my system has 4GB of video RAM, though the website claims there’s a bug there.

Ensure your computer isn't overheating by installing HWiNFO to monitor temperatures and clock speeds during gameplay.

This tool only recognizes basic hardware details and doesn't provide deep insights. Trust it cautiously. Check temperatures first, then address typical laptop concerns.

You're currently using a PC. If it's overheating, you might not know what to do to prevent it.
