Launch the Control Panel, then navigate to User Accounts > User Accounts. Your username will appear on the right side; if an administrator title is shown below, you possess admin privileges. Another way is to open Settings by pressing Win + I, and proceed to Accounts > Your information, which will display your name below it.

Consider the reset permissions context menu, it should simply restore the defaults, since you already have permission there, which should resolve the issue.

He suggested a method that seems accurate, though it might be missing some details. Try it carefully—one error and it won’t work. The link points to an article about using File Explorer on Windows 10, which is a bit complicated but functional.

I’m not sure if my actions were right since it didn’t work. I saved the file Add Reset Permissions Context Menu.reg to my desktop, double-clicked it, confirmed with yes and ok, but it didn’t function as expected.

This adds the context menu feature, allowing you to right-click on an item and choose the appropriate setting. (A restart might be needed for the menu to appear.) The advice from @Mark Kaine seems reliable, even though my explanation was quite basic. I hadn't tested a folder without permissions recently and haven't used these options in a while.

Certainly unless you're using an outdated OpenVPN setup where the folder was generated automatically and you simply uploaded the file.
