How can I do factory reset
How can I do factory reset
I have a Lenovo ideapad 100. I performed a system restore recently, but it seemed to freeze during the process. After several hours, I forced shut down and now encounter a blue screen with advanced repair options, none of which are effective. Is there a method to reach the factory reset setting? Could this resolve the problem? Thanks.
I've checked all the troubleshooting steps, but the issue indicates a reset was attempted. The system only offers a single date for restoring the system, yet it insists on restoring the Windows drive. This suggests your laptop may be beyond repair now. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any success yet. I tried pressing the Novo button and choosing system recovery, but ended up back at the blue screen with the same options. It seems this device was refurbished when purchased, so the one-key recovery might not work again. I'll need to explore other options.
I recently attempted a factory reset on my Lenovo ideapad using the Novo button, but it didn’t work. I followed the initial drop-down menu and chose system restore, only to be brought back to the blue screen with no recovery options available. Anyone have any suggestions? I suspect the one-key recovery might have been tried before, so perhaps I’m out of options.
This laptop's model might be affected if the HDD has failed.
It might have been a fresh setup with the Lenovo recovery partition cleared. Many users do this right out of the box to remove pre-installed software. If the recovery isn’t functioning or has disappeared, consider a clean reinstall.
