I had my Windows enabled before upgrading to Ryzen, but now it’s disabled. After they took control of my PC, they removed my old code and never provided a new one—so it’s inactive with no support. There are legal limits here because they erased my previous activation. The accessibility feature might help, but it seems more suited for older systems. You’re right to push your boundaries; consider reaching out to a tech professional or exploring alternative solutions.

I reached out to Microsoft to assist with activating your new machine. If they had done so, they would have completed the activation process prior to ending the session.

Contacted Microsoft about the latest authentication problem. The support representative who assisted didn’t fix the issue, and I remain on an inactive account.

Do you possess your previous key somewhere? It’s likely you acquired it through a proper purchase.

I think I’ll do that this evening. If they don’t assist, I’ll get frustrated.

It was initially a code for volume 8, but after upgrading to 10, the code seems different. I need the original 8 volume key but am unsure what the one for 10 was.

This product code you have from W8.1 isn't an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) key.
