I would like to do the same on my Windows 11 installation, to prompt me for my pin or password whenever I want to install something or do something weirder, just for security. Where I work, this is already so, you can't install anything, or even acces some settings, without having the admin password. How can I do the same?

Thank you, this matches what you're seeking. However, since you're using Windows 11 Home, this particular version might not include all the features you need. I'll upgrade during the next installation. Thanks!

Basic.
Set up a new user with local Standard. It's suitable for everyday tasks.
When you need to install something, it will prompt for the admin password.
Every system follows this setup. The Local Standard user handles regular operations.
The admin account is reserved for real administrative actions.
