I used noctua nt-h1 for my legion y540. The thermal pads keep getting hot after I apply them, they drop a few minutes then go up again. My cpu temps are always way too high above 90 while gaming or even when just surfing the web or running light programs and hitting about 95-96 degrees C. The gpu gets to around 89-90 degrees under load in games or rendering. I tried cooling pads but they didn't help much. Now I'm going to get new thermal paste, and I chose mastergel pro v2. Is this good with no pump-out effect? Mostly I found information that says to prevent pump-out you should use a paste with high viscosity and high density, is that right? Does mastergel pro v2 have high viscosity?

Noctua paste isn't bad at all, but something else must be going on here.

If you use the right paste, it will slowly leak out of your CPU and cooler. This can happen at different times depending on your setup. That's why I tell you to avoid it here. When I looked last time, most of the paste is gone from under the CPU, but about 50% to 60% left on the GPU part of the cooler. So, what kind of thermal paste gets hard to remove? And if the leak isn't severe enough, could there be another issue causing this problem?
