1. Open the **Settings** app.
2. Tap on **Email & Calendar**.
3. Select **Hotmail** from the list.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your email account.
5. Save any changes and check your inbox for confirmation.

The issue is that there isn't a Hotmail choice available. When I select Outlook—which seems to be the updated version—I don’t see an option to add my account.
That's odd, perhaps you should adjust your Hotmail preferences. Yeah, there was something in there: D
