Someone with recommendations for a router you can purchase can connect your hotel network using a login and ensure you receive the Appletv connection. As you're aware, Appletv isn't able to access these types of networks.

Instead of linking directly, you could simply join the laptop to the same network and use a physical cable for a stable connection.

When family members travel for work, it’s often more cost-effective to upgrade the router rather than purchasing another laptop.

I purchased this individual a few months ago for comparable purposes, and it has performed perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I92...UTF8&psc=1 It has been extremely useful to connect one device and have my Fire Stick, laptop, phone, etc., all join automatically and work seamlessly. Just keep in mind there could be a bandwidth increase, especially if multiple devices share the same connection. If the hotel enforces per-device limits, each device would receive its own share, while others might get less. This is why I chose a Fire Stick—it can handle captive web portals.

Previously, I had a Netgear travel router for this purpose. But these might have some constraints. The outcome relies on the hotel's chosen authentication method.
