HOTAS
HOTAS
I run mine for X Plane and plan to keep using it for the upcoming MS Flight Simulator too. I also rely on CH Products Pro Pedals together with the HOTAS, because realistic flying isn’t possible without them.
Explore DCS World at https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/e...oads/world. Many built-in features are available for a limited time with discounts—50% off plus an additional 10% using codes shared by popular streamers. The F/A-18C, A10C, and AV8B Harrier models are all strong options; consider what you enjoy while they’re free. They also offer choppers if that suits you better. Keep in mind the F-16 is still in early access, offering only basic functionality beyond Air 2 Air and certain weapon types. There are two complexity levels for planes in DCS Full fidelity—higher detail requires clicking every button and turning every knob, while Simplified or Flaming Cliffs offers three levels at a lower cost but limits cockpit interaction. I suggest watching YouTube tutorials or following Chuck’s guides for any plane you choose; full fidelity modules provide enough systems to keep you engaged for hours. If you prefer simpler planes, purchasing the entire Flaming Cliffs 3 pack is more economical and gives better value.
