Check if they’re using the router they supplied and confirm the port forwarding is correctly configured.

The information indicates that replacing the Toob router and connecting it straight to the ONT works. It raises concerns about whether this method remains valid today. Some ISPs are reportedly using combined gateways with the ONT in routers, which is seen as an issue. There’s currently no proof Toob has adopted this approach, likely because they frequently update their hardware for better performance.

I'm employing PFSense as the network gateway. It isn't currently active.

Would you like me to create another port for testing? I can run a basic HTTP server and verify if the problem continues. It’s possible your firewall might be interfering with the trace route packets. Please share your firewall configuration if you’d like.

Your pfSense device acts as the gateway for your network, which could mean the ISP has firewall settings blocking standard OpenVPN ports. Have you attempted to run the service on a different port? Based on my observations, many providers restrict forwarding of low ports below 1024 and some high ports like 1080, 1194, 1701, or 3389, so consider using a much higher port number (>32767) to test compatibility.
