well since your running a vm and haven't passed through a gpu, your seeing a virtual gpu, not the nvidia gpu. There is no easy fix, either run ubuntu on the hardware or passthrough the gpu to the vm, but you need windows server or linux or esxi to do that, and a secord gpu.
