Yesterday I began using Horizon on my computer. The game performs at around 100-160 frames per second without DLSS. However, I experienced strange micro stutters every few minutes, which seems to point to a CPU, RAM, or SSD issue, though it’s not clear. System specs: Ryzen 9 5950X, 32GB RAM, 3600MHz CL16, RTX 3090. It runs on a PCIe Gen3 Seagate SSD.
GPU performance at 99%, CPU temperature 70°C, idle 70%, CPU idle 25% (no threading at 100%), ambient 85°C.
The game lagged on my EVGA XC3 Ultra 3080 Ti but worked fine on my FTW3 Ultra 3080 Ti with a 5900x. Using VSync resolved the issue.
