I’m using Windows 7 Home Premium on 16 GB RAM with an MSI 970 4G graphics card. I’m getting a free Windows version—deciding between Windows 7 Home or Pro. Both support gaming and browsing, but which one performs better?

The main distinction between the two Windows 10 releases appears to be the Remote Desktop connection feature in Pro. That’s what I’ve noticed thus far. If you manage to obtain Pro, definitely get it.

Windows 7 Pro appears to need more storage space, especially after installing additional programs. Compared to Home Premium during Windows startup and for gaming, it may take longer to complete tasks.

No delay in launch time, slight rise in home storage capacity. Should the startup time be a concern, I’d consider switching to or upgrading to Windows 10.

I don't see any need to buy Windows Home when both options are identical in price here. Thanks!
