Hi everyone, I’ve been changing several of my lights to smart bulbs lately. I really enjoy having smart lighting, but controlling them with voice or a phone is becoming less convenient. If I stick with the old wall switches, I lose the voice control feature. I know brands like Phillips Hue and Sengled have their own remotes. My question is: can I use a similar button or switch for other brands? Do I need to switch to another brand entirely? What’s the best approach? Thanks!

I own the switch and remote. I don’t have smart lights, but I’m aware that Lutron offers a network bridge for controlling these switches over the internet. I purchased this to manage my lights from my bed or desk without needing to move to the wall. Since I don’t have the bridge myself, I can’t confirm the smart features, but I know they exist.
