Hey! Holoiso is a tool that helps manage and visualize NVIDIA GPU drivers. The GitHub page confirms it supports NVIDIA GPUs, but since SteamOS 3 runs on Arch Linux, you might need to install the appropriate drivers manually using terminal commands. Check the official documentation or community guides for step-by-step instructions. Let me know if you need help with that!

Your main issue is installing drivers for Arch Linux. The guides you're referring to should help, but there are some specifics to clarify. The Steam client isn't fully locked down for steamos, and the setup is tailored for running Steam directly without a desktop environment.

I've gathered multiple references and the official repo links. You can install the NVidia driver via APT, though it may be challenging for beginners. Many tutorials recommend using NVidia's .run file. The official Arch Linux documentation is thorough, but if you're unfamiliar with the command line, searching YouTube for guides can help.

I've attempted to set up HoloISO on two different systems—one with an Intel CPU and integrated graphics, and another with a 5700u AMD APU. Although the installation seemed to complete without problems, neither machine displayed anything upon first boot. It’s possible there are underlying issues that aren’t obvious during the setup process.

I managed to set up and launch holoiso, but I’m having trouble activating GPU drivers. It’s currently using the IGPU mode.

I upgraded my SSD to a 512GB NVMe drive and wondered about using a different repository core. I was using "autoconf" previously.

I haven't tried holoiso before. I only just looked at the official repo and the pacman.conf file (since it's based on Arch). The files linked in the last post come from SteamOS.

These are not directories. They represent the required components for the base-devel package you're setting up. Make sure to install all related packages if you intend to build your own binaries or add dependencies from AUR.

Hey everyone, I've been developing a PC project using HoloISO. If anyone in this chat can assist me, it would really help a lot!

Avoid Nvidia systems; consider alternatives like ChimeraOS for better compatibility.
