I agree, they made a big error by spending so much time creating multiple ways to kill the demo instead of simply adding more mission content. Because of that, I have a slightly lower rating for the game, thinking it’s only average because it lacks good replay value. Most people seem to accept this new shorter format.

I experienced the same feelings about this Hitman 1,2,3... on my first run. It was quite brief, especially if you just focus on jumping levels without thinking. However, as I began playing online, I understood what the developers intended for this game. This is what gives it value despite its high price—it’s worth every penny. You can enjoy it repeatedly until you reach perfection, which is its greatest strength and what makes it a valuable purchase.

Let me rephrase that well-known saying...
Repeating the same actions repeatedly, even if the outcomes change slightly, is still madness.
...I interpret it as mere laziness on the part of the developers, lacking a richer narrative and diverse level design. What’s surprising is how many people think they’ve invested more effort into this compared to just adding a few weapons and characters for different scenarios. It gets even worse when one of those characters isn’t in the right place when setting up an optional way to end the game.
🙄
My confidence in IO has dropped significantly after they introduced this way to play like a hamster wheel. It’s obvious it’s just a quick profit opportunity, and they’re definitely charging a lot more than it’s worth.

Your belief could have faded in IO, but mine has stayed strong. Since you're willing to invest effort, I've come across something valuable in this game. After fully experiencing the second part and realizing it can be removed for sale, then reappearing on Steam with all content restored, I installed it again and played it multiple times. Even when the third part was a special store-only release, I still felt confident about its development for players. It seems to work well once you reach the right moment—running the game at that point makes it shine. I believe this applies to more games than just this one.

You should be aware of this by now. "Frag Maniac" is a name you should recognize; I've seen your posts and read some of them too. You play many games, so it's understandable how you feel about certain titles depending on what you're aiming for. This doesn't necessarily indicate design flaws or problems that would cause a game to fail.

Of course, we all grumble while playing—though not always. Mostly because gaming should stay fun, right? And that well-known saying... has its own story. In the end, when the same situation repeats and you keep doing it, it's not about doubting what you see, but rather about the purpose behind such repetition.

I really don't want this to become an endless discussion, especially with sentences like yours. I'm not sure about that, are you okay with it? For me, the real value comes from an epic journey rather than repeating missions. That's why many developers stop hiring writers these days. More players prefer exploring and experimenting instead of focusing on a big story. It's similar to what people do in GTA. Whatever, but honestly it doesn't work for me.
