He observed a problem where his high ping occurs on one 5G network but not the other. Both have identical ISPs and plans, yet speeds are strong. Tests were done with just his phone connected. It’s unclear if the issue lies with the router, the ISP, or possible network interference.

The link to your home is established through a device such as a modem, which handles the internet connection.

I encountered an issue with my new router, experiencing frequent jumps in intervals around every 7 seconds. It might be worth checking it out.

We both rely on Fiber connections under identical data plans. The ISP connection is transmitted via fiber cables and reaches a router.

I'll reach out to our ISP, praying it's just the router having problems.

The issue at hand is whether nearby networks are interfering with your WiFi more than your personal usage or others around you. Are there more devices connected to your network, or is it the number of people accessing it?

I noted that only my brother's phone is using the WiFi during testing on both networks, but I didn't mention that this router is the sole source of the network in our home. The only neighbor we have is my brother's friend, who also has just one WiFi router.
