Hey guys so I noticed that my CPU i5 6500 cooled by a 212 Evo with 2 Noctua NF-F12 Fans runs at 25-34ºC when gaming when I have my RAM set to 2133Mhz, when I activate XMP Profile to get them to 2666Mhz, my CPU runs hotter, getting up to 45ºC when gaming. Is this normal? Is there a way to overclock my RAM and still getting lower temps on my CPU?

45c is regarded as within the idle range, though the slight temperature increase occurs due to the XMP profile adjusting the CPU parameters. This often involves raising the system agent voltage and adjusting the ring ratio cache to align with memory speeds.

The temperatures are nearer to zero than excessive for the CPU even with the rise. No concerns here.

Temps ne m'inquiètent vraiment pas mais j'ai pensé que c'était étrange ou que quelque chose dans mes paramètres de profil était en panne.

Disabling the XMP profile makes the bios settings change automatically.
