Hey everyone! I bought a Lian li lancool 3 with three extra Noctua fans. It’s pretty cool in a Linus way, but it gets noisy. I adjusted the BIOS settings to different fan curves—like 30C at 50%, up to 85% at 80%. Still nothing changes. My MSI B550 board is working fine. I’m wondering if tweaking more or trying another setup could help. Thanks!

These are for specific Noctua models. They connect straight to the mainboard, no splitters or hubs needed.

Hello! Thank you for your message. These are specifically Noctua NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM computer case fans. They are not directly connected to the motherboard; instead, they are grouped into a 3-fan splitter before being linked to the motherboard.

When temperatures drop, reduce the fan curve until heat becomes too high. If fan adjustments don’t work, try tools like HwInfo to check speed via Windows. You might be using PWM control on a DC fan, causing it to run at maximum speed all the time.

The pump fan header typically spins quickly because pumps operate at a high RPM compared to fans. Most systems offer a BIOS setting to handle it as a standard header.

Most MBOs have the AIO_PUMP at their maximum speed. I haven’t seen an option to switch it to a standard header from BIOs, though that might exist. I’d prefer moving it to a regular fan header and use a fan curve tool to test.
