Hey there. As mentioned in the title, I increased my new 4790K's overclocking on an ASUS Z97-AR with a Matterhorn Pure cooler. I adjusted the core voltage to offset -0.100V, set the frequency to x44, with an offset of +0.001V for the cache and a min-max frequency of x40. The LLC is at level 5, turbo mode is off, Intel speedstep and C6 are both auto or enabled. After running 10 rounds and a 10-minute prime, I achieved 87C° with this cooler. Is it typical for this cooler? I've seen many users reach 4.6GHZ with higher voltages using this cooler or with 212 EVO. Did I make any mistakes in the BIOS settings?
