Hi, your setup looks fine overall. The fan behavior you described could be due to airflow restrictions or case ventilation issues. Try opening the case more fully and ensuring the fans spin freely. Also, check if dust buildup is affecting airflow. If the problem persists after these changes, consider a thermal paste replacement.

Could you check if a stock cooler is available? The temperature changes could be due to the surrounding environment. A warmer room means your CPU will get hotter too.

I powered down the PC and waited 12 hours. Temperatures returned to 30°C during idle mode, possibly due to the summer season.

This board looks quite low quality—I wouldn’t purchase it for a 6-core processor. You might consider lowering the voltage in BIOS instead.

Yes, the board can contribute to elevated temperatures depending on its design and materials.

The stock cooler functions but isn’t comfortable. Invest in a basic tower cooler for improved results.

Occasionally, without adequate internal cooling and stable power for the CPU, performance can drop significantly. Using an I7 10700 on a Gigabyte B460M DS3H will push it to 80°C+ and cause losses. In contrast, pairing an I5 10600k with a Gigabyte Z490 AORUS Ultra allows you to overclock until the chip limits are reached—provided you have sufficient cooling.

In Europe you can find the Raijintek Themis II offering strong value with five heatpipes and LGA1700, ready to use. In the United States available options include the listed Amazon products and other compatible cooling solutions.
