4000d airflow features one front inlet and one top exhaust. The D15s are oriented upward, while both the lower and upper fans face outward to release air through the top.
Isn't the D15 mount fan positioned to blow air toward the back of the case? Rotate it so the exhaust goes rearward. Place the top fan on the back to draw heat out. The 4000d should have three front fan openings—use the first two for testing. The rear fan handles exhaust. Airflow should move from front to back. Adding more fans inside should make a big difference.
@triagonal_mouse Open HWiNFO to monitor your CPU voltage. By default, the 10900KF runs at 4900 MHz during Cinebench. Most systems add about +0.1V beyond what the CPU requires for stable performance. If you fix the voltage to match the maximum speed of 5300 MHz, it will still operate at 4900 MHz. Using an air cooler would increase power use and temperatures significantly.
