I just removed around 10 cents by cleaning and dusting all my fans. It wasn’t a huge amount of dust, but it seems like airflow might be the problem. Since I haven’t run any stress tests lately, I’ll need to test it for you.

The image shows your setup but it’s showing high temperatures. I’m not sure what to do because I’m not very familiar with this equipment. Please let me know if you need guidance on troubleshooting or optimizing performance.

You mentioned another discussion earlier. Are you confirming the setup is correct? It seems your CPU usage is high—around 42%—which is much higher than its idle range. That’s unusual since your 8700k should only use 1-2% at rest. I suspect either the mount isn’t functioning properly or there’s another process consuming most of the CPU.

If it were closer to 35°C—a normal range—your core temperatures would be nearer 80°C, which remains high for this workload. This might stem from inadequate airflow or a suboptimal CPU mounting. For context, what’s the temperature in your room? Also, if you claim no processes are running yet, but your CPU is under 42% utilization, what tasks are consuming the processing power?

Was das immer so gewesen? Haben Sie kürzlich etwas verändert, wie zum Beispiel den Kühlkörper neu montiert? Der Kühler könnte nicht richtig mit dem CPU verbunden sein. Der Lüfter könnte vollständig verstopft sein. Der Pump könnte kaputtgegangen sein (ich hatte einen H100i-Prototyp, das passiert auch bei anderen AIOs). Die CPU-Auslastung lag bei etwa 42 % zum Zeitpunkt des Screenshots, nicht im Leerlauf, aber denken Sie daran, wenn die Maschine eigentlich nichts tun sollte.
