Your R7 5800X is running hot under load, with temps reaching 75°C even when just moving a window. Gaming spikes to over 90°C within seconds. The deepcool AG400 isn’t keeping things down enough. You’re at 1.500V max and idle around 1.300-1.400V—consider lowering the voltage or checking for bottlenecks.

Adjust CPU ratio to 46 across all cores. Apply a static voltage of 1.35v with LLC disabled. It seems the board might be applying too much extra voltage, causing overheating issues.

That feature is not in Ryzen Master. It might be something you can find through other tools or built-in system settings.

I don't usually use AMD tools, but you can try Ryzen Master to check your CPU's stability. This video is the one I'd suggest instead.

They definitely maintain strong performance even at reduced voltages. The experience with the x5650 shows it can handle high speeds and loads without overheating significantly, especially when paired with a decent tower setup. Modern CPUs often balance efficiency and cooling better than older models, making them more manageable under stress.

When someone uses an DDR3 and/or BCLK platform, I’m happy to assist with overclocking. A stable clock frequency can also aid in troubleshooting, and it’s fairly straightforward to adjust most settings in the BIOS using multipliers rather than relying solely on BCLK.
