To set the power restrictions on the B560M Mortar, start by opening the BIOS and adjusting the cooler configuration to "Box Cooler." This will reinstate the power limits. When you first powered it up, it likely prompted you to specify your cooler type, and you should have been informed that the automatic removal of power limits occurred.

I changed it to Box Cooler and everything matched exactly. The graph stayed at 56 seconds, with temperatures reaching a peak of 75°C after dropping from 100°C in the first 56 seconds. XTU is displaying Power Limit Throttling, and the package TDP is capped at 125W (220W in the initial 56 seconds). That confirms it.

Check if there’s a reason your 10850k is reaching 100°C quickly and not cooling down after 56 seconds. You might need to use it in a cooler setting, or the water cooler could be underperforming.

Adjusting fan settings or radiator airflow can help manage heat. Monitoring pump speed and ensuring proper mounting pressure are also important. For optimal performance, aim for a power level where the CPU stays around 85C under full load, then adjust cooling settings accordingly. Exceeding 220W would likely cause inefficiency due to excessive power draw.
