Hi, I’m planning to boost my memory capacity for the Ryzen 7 3900X. Currently, I have Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB modules on an ASUS X570-E motherboard. In the future, I aim to reach up to 128GB of RAM, focusing on high speeds and low latency. I’d recommend considering higher-end options like the 128GB DDR5 ECC modules or even a dual-channel configuration with faster CL and bandwidth. This will support heavy workloads such as VMs, Docker, Kubernetes, and big data processing efficiently.

I'm not very familiar with technology, but my personal take is that if you really need a lot more memory—like 120 GB right now—go for it. If not, you might save some money and upgrade later. Over time, prices tend to drop, and new tech like DDR5 could arrive soon, which might even lower the cost of older models like DDR4. I can't predict the future, but looking at what's happening now helps us make a better guess.

P.S.: You could safely ignore my suggestion if you prefer.

@Daniel.thang Regarding DDR4, You can always wait longer I was upgrading from DDR3 knowing that DDR5 may be around the corner, so no issue here.

This package remains at 3200 MHz. G.Skill offers a model with 3600 MHz, yet it comes in a 256 GB version.
