The PUBG video from earlier has been updated a lot since then. My main worry comes from seeing my friends' scores improve much more than mine. The biggest difference seems to be around Ring of Elysium, which makes me think they might have problems with the new design or something similar.

You've owned this PC for a while now. Are those instructions you see on your screen or do you notice them yourself? I notice your power plan is configured for high performance, which is ideal. But in the global settings of your Nvidia control panel, is your power management mode set to prioritize maximum performance? Regarding the FPS drops in open-world games like PUBG, this is completely normal given how those games are designed. A benchmark will confirm this when it shows a dip in FPS during specific sections.

You’ve likely used this machine for gaming for more than four years already. Here are the essential specs you’ll need to meet the minimum requirements:

- CPU: Intel Core i3 at 2.4 GHz or faster
- RAM: 4 GB
- Video Card: GeForce GTS 250 or better
- Dedicated VRAM: 1 GB

For optimal performance, consider upgrading to:

- CPU: Intel Core i5 at 2.4 GHz or higher
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video Card: GeForce GTX 750 Ti or better
- Dedicated VRAM: 2 GB

PUBG also needs similar specs:

- CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 or AMD FX-6300
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R7 370 (2 GB)
- Dedicated VRAM: 2 GB

Your current setup—1080 Ti and Ryzen 7—is more than sufficient for both games, though PUBG might run a bit smoother on lower-end hardware. If you notice performance drops, it could be due to background processes, disabled optimizations, or outdated Windows updates. Checking settings like disabling unnecessary programs and background tasks can help improve things.

Likely a performance tweak with Ryzen processors. A colleague uses an R5 1600x and sees fewer frames in many older or less optimized games even with the same GPU (GTX 1070). I have an OC 4770K.
