I thought the system needed to be powered down, so I just waited for it to stop flashing... Probably better to wait another time, haha I'm such a fool.

The device needs to be powered down first. Once you activate the flash, the board will switch on automatically. As mentioned earlier, if you're having issues, it's usually better to have it repaired by a professional.

It seems you're currently using version 2.0 but haven't seen any changes yet. Try switching to 3.0 for updates.

I purchased a 3.0 USB drive, changing from the 2.0 model. The white light is now blinking in static mode instead of working. It’s been about 15 minutes, and nothing has occurred despite following the tutorials I watched earlier. I’m confident I did everything correctly. I also formatted the USB to fat32 as before. I tried booting the PC, but red and orange lights still appear.

I took the computer to a repair shop, they told me the constant white light indicates the BIOS is installed. They suggested it might be related to the motherboard since it’s around Christmas and they’re busy, possibly taking 1-2 days to diagnose. I’m eager to discover the problem.

EDIT: It turns out you can’t update the beta version of BIOS via CPU BIOS; the updates were applied and the PC started working. Issue resolved.

Usually, a beta BIOS doesn’t affect the flash button—you’ll need to rename it to ensure compatibility. If MSI mentions incompatibility, they should clarify it on their site. Good to have it fixed!
