The 3300X is a solid choice for budget gaming CPUs. If you're not using anything else, it performs comparably to the 3600 and other 3000 models. I’d pick it for around $150 US.

I can secure a 3100 at a lower price, but could any of these models slow down the 6800? I hope to get the 5600 next, then save up for the 6400.
